What’s new
What has changed in the game, newest first. The Android app, the iPhone app and the game in a browser share the version number; you see yours in "Settings → About SlovoBoj".
SlovoBoj for iPhone in testing
Version 1.4.8 · 22 October 2026
SlovoBoj is coming to the iPhone: everything the Android app has, from single-player levels to live matches and a Profile linked with an Apple or Google account. The first testers play it through Apple's TestFlight app, and the public release is coming soon.
Sign in with Apple
Version 1.4.6 · 21 October 2026
In a browser and on an iPhone you can now link your Profile with an Apple account too, and one Profile may have both a Google and an Apple account. When you unlink Apple or delete your Profile, SlovoBoj disappears from the apps in your Apple account by itself.
A clearer leaderboard and room
Version 1.4.5 · 18 October 2026
On the leaderboard, wins and games share one column, so nicknames have more room. In a room the screen stays on while you wait for players, and on short screens the empty seats fit in one row, so the chat has space.
Clearer texts about your Profile
Version 1.4.3 · 17 October 2026
The "Account and devices" screen and the nickname screen were rewritten more simply: "Play with an account" or "Play without signing in", and the local Profile is now called the "Device Profile". It is all explained on Profile and devices too.
Sign in with Google
Version 1.4.1 · 16 October 2026
You can link your Profile with a Google account and carry on on another phone or in a browser, with the same nickname, coins and points. Signing in is optional. Also new: a bell that rings at the start of every round of a match.
SlovoBoj in a browser
Version 1.4.0 · 15 October 2026
You can play SlovoBoj on a computer, in a browser at slovoboj.com/play, with nothing to install, and with players on phones. The game also has a new icon, the coins are drawn like real ones, and bonus words in a match bring up to 300 points per round instead of 30.
